Dr. Anvin's office is located in San Jose's historic Rose Garden district, just west of downtown and a short drive from 3 major highways. In addition to a comfortable office space for exploring thoughts and creating action plans, the location is ideal for getting out and exploring physical activity. We're just a short block from the San Jose Municipal Rose Garden and a half a block from the gardens of the Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum. Other nearby locations include Westfield Valley Fair shopping mall, Santana Row, Santa Clara University, San Jose State University and O'Connor Hospital.

Dr. Anvin may not be available immediately when she is meeting with other clients, but she will return your call as soon as possible, within 24 hours or by the next business day. To protect your privacy, Dr. Anvin does not use e-mail for initial inquiries.

Billing and Insurance Information

Dr. Anvin is a participating provider on several insurance panels, including Cigna, ComPsych, and Victim Witness. Insurance will cover all services designed to treat a medical or mental health concern, but may not cover lifestyle change or body image programs. If you have questions about whether your services will be covered, please contact your insurance company. If Dr. Anvin is not a participating provider on your plan, your services may still be covered by your PPO insurance plan. In this case, you will be billed directly for services, and may request a detailed billing statement to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. If you prefer not to use insurance or if services are not covered, Dr. Anvin is happy to work with you to create a sliding scale fee that will match your financial needs.
